Cuisine Zen
Menu design for Graines du Jour, restaurant, cafe and plant-based dairy shop in Paris with a concept of Cuisine Zen.

Their cuisine is inspired by the tradition of Shiojin Ryori (Cuisine Zen), with no meat, no eggs and no fish. Their food is prepared in their kitchen based on their homemade tofu and fresh vegetables from the market. The combination of five colours, five flavours (sweet, sour, salty, bitter, umami), five ways of cooking (frying, grill, steam, stew and raw vegetables).

The menu itself is more about Thomas, the owner, is telling story about the origin concept of cuisine zen itself, with the explanation of how they prepare everything meticulously.
